Editor Club helping CAAOC in Summer program sharing seminar
In the past summer, our high school and middle school students all participated in various meaningful activities. Some of them attended video camp to showcase the lives of underprivileged children; some went to impoverished areas such as Nepal and Ning Xia to do public service projects; some went to business camp at prestigious universities and interned at prominent companies; some took advantage of their talents and helped the underprivileged within their community. We are happy to see our growing generation is not only diligent, but also compassionate and enthusiastic. Through these activities, students broadened their horizons, improved their practical skills and became more aware of their social responsibilities.
To showcase these summer activities and help fellow students and parents become more informed about and involved in them, CAAOC held a student summer activity experience discussion at Crown Cultural Center in October. This discussion was hosted by student MCs who explained the discusser’s summer activities bilingually. A Q&A session was also held for every discusser. This event did not only provide students and parents with an opportunity to discuss extracurriculars, but also gave students a chance to experience giving speeches and showing their talents.
